Older parishioners have much to offer a parish. They serve as spiritual anchors reminding others of the enduring nature of faith. The act as intercessors as their life experiences allow them to empathize with various struggles making their prayers heartfelt. The are the preservers of tradition making sure the parish remains rooted in its heritage and mission.
The Grownups at Saint Robert’s
St. Robert’s Grownups is a group of parishioners who are over the age of fifty. It’s a steering committee to act as the leaders, planning events for each calendar year. There are social activities that include excursions and Communion brunches. They also hold a luncheon to celebrate the Christmas season.
